Y, my eight year old, is obsessed with connect the dot sheets and is constantly asking me for new ones to do. I decided, why not try creating my own? These Hanukkah dot to dots were created with him in mind, tested by him, and passed!
This is a download with eight pages, which makes it a premium download available for a few bucks in my Etsy and TPT shops, however, I decided to offer one of the simpler ones – the dreidel – as a free download.

About the pages
I illustrated these by hand using Adobe Fresco on my Surface pro. That means that I did all the drawing from scratch using a digital pen on digital paper – giving you the quality of something truly hand drawn.
I even lettered in the numbers myself instead of typing them, because I remembered doing dot-to-dots with hand lettered numbers as a kid, and I wanted that nostalgic feel. Chanukah is all about the nostalgia, so why not carry it over to the kids activities?
And all the numbers are large enough to be fully legible – I actually redid all the numbering after printing a test and finding them to be too small.
Kids can of course color them when they’re done connecting the dots, making it a 2-in-1 Hanukkah activity for aspiring artists!

The illustrations are a mix of simple Hanukkah objects, Hanukkah scenes, and Hanukkah story. They were all illustrated specifically for these Hanukkah dot to dot sheets.

- A Hanukkiah – Hanukkah Menorah
- Frying latkes
- A Maccabee
- Dreidel (this is the one that is the free sample)
- Jug of oil unbroken with seal
- Boy eating a donut
- Menorah in the window (view from outside which is why the candles are the “wrong direction”)
